Elemental is Croatia based band. Although influenced by rock, soul, funk and reggae, we remain true to our Hip Hop roots. Formed in 1998, the band has released seven albums and received numerous music awards. Elemental has seven bend members and is the only Croatian band with a female.
Elemental is a band whose musical base is in rap music, but it would be difficult to reduce it to just one musical genre. In their colorful musical vision, traces of different styles can be found, which makes their expression unique and original. The specificity of this band is the sharp lyrics and interesting instrumental backings that together create the authentic sound of Elemental. Elemental has never been a band that considered its music a product, but rather an artistic expression, and their honest and genuine attitude is recognized by audiences throughout the region. Over the years, Elemental has performed in numerous cities in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro.
Although it has existed since 1998, the band, which initially consisted of three MCs, today has seven members. They create the music, lyrics and arrangements themselves and over the years have proven themselves to be excellent music authors and performers. In addition to being excellent studio musicians, Elemental has also proven itself over the years as one of the best concert bands. The band's priority is to maintain a close relationship with their audience through their concerts. Elemental communicates with their listeners daily via their website, Facebook and Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
Elemental's beginnings date back to 1998 when they came together as a rap trio and released two albums in that lineup – their debut album “Moj njegov i njen svijet” (Kondorcomm) in 2000 and “Tempo Velegrada – Demiurg” (Menart) in 2002. For the past six years, they have been working in a seven-member lineup, atypical for the rap form, replacing “sampling” with played musical sections. In that lineup, they have released five more albums – “Male Stvari”in 2004 and “Pod pritsimo” in 2008, “Vertigo” in 2010, “U redu je” in 2013, and the last double album “Tijelo” in 2016, which the band released independently.
The members of Elemental are vocalists Mirela Priselac Remi and Luka Tralić Shot, guitarist Erol Zejnilović, bassist Konrad Lovrenčić, keyboardist Davor Zanoški, drummer Ivan Vodopijec, and backing vocalist Vida Manestar.
