Vafa found himself immersed in the melting pot of cultures and languages of the people of South Africa, worlds apart from his Persian heritage. This has translated into a brand of comedy that is peppered with tones that resonate with the hearts people across the country and continent, interwoven with hilarious tales about his Persian roots. It’s the inter-change between these different worlds that make his story unique. Naraghi’s first hand account of how these cultures have collided and merged through him.

Vafa has performed stand-up comedy on stages across South Africa, Botswana, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
